• Payment information: Payment card details and payout banking information are processed and stored securely by Stripe, Inc. Install1 does not store raw card numbers or full banking credentials

We also automatically collect certain information when you use our Service, including:

• Log information (access times, pages viewed, IP address)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Match print shops with qualified installers

3. Information Sharing

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With other users: Print shops and installers can see relevant profile and job information necessary to complete marketplace transactions
• With Stripe, Inc.: Payment card details and payout banking information are processed and stored by Stripe. Install1 does not store raw payment card data. Stripe's privacy policy governs how Stripe handles your financial data
• With Vercel: We use Vercel for application hosting and content delivery
• With other service providers: Third parties who perform services on our behalf — including email delivery (Resend) and analytics providers — under confidentiality obligations
• For legal reasons: When required by law, regulation, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Install1 or its users
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission and secure servers for data storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. When you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from active databases within a reasonable period, subject to the following exceptions:

• Financial and transaction records may be retained for up to seven (7) years as required by applicable tax and accounting law
• Information needed to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations may be retained for longer periods
• Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes
